The actual period gives several questions regarding the biological protection. Thaly answers introducing a new garment line called SPRAYGUARD Realized with Puntiform® fabric they passed all the test required by EN14126:2003 that combines the biological hazard protection with the chemical protective clothing in their different classifications.
Garments are certified as:
- CHEMICAL PROTECTION category 3 type 4-b
- BIOLOGICAL PROTECTION following EN14126:2003
- NUCLEAR PROTECTION following EN 1073-2
- and meet the requirements for ANTISTATIC properties following EN 1149-1
Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) are designed to protect the wearer body (in a total way if done with suitable ventilated encapsulated suits or limited to protect the covered body zone in case of overall, jackets or gowns) with the goal to avoid the direct contact within the dangerous chemical and the skin giving an efficient barrier to the chemical itself.
